What it takes to ship a mobile app people actually use. The honest version, not the brochure version.
The idea is not the hard part
People come to us with an app concept and a feature list. What they rarely have is an answer to the boring question: who is going to use this, and why would they open it a second time? That is the first thing we dig into, before any wireframes and well before any code. An app built for everyone gets used by no one.
One codebase, both stores
You do not need two teams anymore, one for iOS and one for Android. Cross-platform frameworks have matured to the point where a single codebase ships to both stores and still feels native. Unless your app leans hard on device-specific hardware, cross-platform is the right call and roughly halves the bill. We say that knowing a two-team build would bill us more.
The infrastructure nobody notices
An app is only as good as the backend behind it. We build the APIs and hosting so the thing does not fall over when you go from 100 users to 100,000. Good infrastructure is boring on purpose. Nobody notices it, and that is the compliment you want.
